Thanks for your patience everyone – by now you will have received an acceptance letter or rejection letter from the publisher – Latitude 46. If you haven’t received an email please check your junk/spam folders.
My co-editor Mat Del Papa and I just want to let everyone know that we had way more stories that we wanted to take than we were able to due to the limitation on how many stories we could afford to publish in this book. Just because you received a rejection does not mean your story didn’t stand out! We had over 70 submissions and in the end we had to choose 8 stories from the submissions.
Mat and I are just in the process of editing the stories and will be working with the individual authors to tweak the stories before turning them all over to the publisher for copy editing and formatting. We don’t have a publication date yet for the anthology. That’s up to the publisher and needs to fit with the other releases they have scheduled, but we will keep people updated when we have information moving forward like a Table of Contents that we can share or cover reveals as we get closer to publication.
We’re very excited to see this come to life and for you all to read these stories (and hopefully discover new authors for you to follow!).
