Excited to share news that the much anticipated SuperCanucks launch is just around the corner. Mat and I pitched this concept to Latitude46 Publishing back in the late summer of 2023. We’re so excited to finally share it with the world.
We’ve been talking the book up to anyone who will listen and this past week Mat and I sat down with Markus Schawbe of CBC Radio’s Morning North. I was in studio and Mat was online. The segment aired today and you can listen to it over on CBC Listen – Morning North show here – SuperCanucks featuring small town superheroes published. It runs about 10 minutes long and we discuss a number of things including how superheroes influenced us growing up and why Canadian stories matter.
If you’re in the neighbourhood this weekend – we’ll be at the Greater Sudbury Public Library Main Branch on MacKenzie street from 1 pm to 3 pm. We’ll talk about the book and have readings from a couple of the local contributors including me!
I also made some 3D printed swag to share with people and we’ll be raffling off a superhero themed door-prize at the event. Hope to see you there!
